Kathmandu. Sun Nepal Life Insurance has decided to change the share ownership of its promoter and general public.
The meeting of the company’s board of directors has decided to change the share ownership. According to the company, the promoters will now own 51 percent and the general public will own 49 percent of the shares in the company. Currently, the promoter owns 70 percent of the shares and the general public owns 30 percent of the shares.
The company has also decided to take the proposal from the upcoming annual general meeting after obtaining necessary approval from the regulatory bodies including Nepal Insurance Authority.
