Kathmandu. As part of its community responsibility, Sun Nepal Life Insurance has provided construction materials for the construction of the Balaju Police Range. The construction materials worth Rs 10 lakh were handed over to Balaju Police Office in the presence of Chief Executive Officer of the company Raj Kumar Aryal, Chief Marketing Officer Ganesh Chaulagain, Chief Risk Officer Roshan Gyawali and Chief Internal Control Officer Roshan Poudel. On behalf of Balaju Police Unit Reconstruction Committee, Chairman Shiva Bhakta Ranjit, Treasurer Ved Prasad Poudel and Deputy Superintendent of Police Yal Lal Banjade were present.
The company has said that it is necessary to strengthen the physical infrastructure of an organization directly related to public security like the police premises. The company representative said that the basis of social security is institutional strengthening along with financial security.
Chief of Balaju Police Office expressed the belief that such support from the insurance sector would help in making service delivery more effective. He said that the collaboration between the community and the private sector would have long-term positive impact.
