Kathmandu. The subject of insurance has been included in the school and higher education curriculum at the initiative of Nepal Insurance Authority.
In coordination with the Curriculum Development Center, Sanothimir, basic information related to insurance has been included in the social issues of classes 5, 8 and 10. The textbook contains information about the definition of insurance, types of insurance, concept of insurance, risk sharing under insurance.
According to the Curriculum Development Center, books on social subjects covering insurance topics of classes 5, 8 and 10 have been printed and taken to the testing process for one year. Likewise, the NRA has reached the final stage of including insurance-related content in the class 12 curriculum.
