Kathmandu. Today, the stock market closed sharply. NEPSE has gained positive momentum with the election preparations. Today, the NEPSE index increased by 57.55 points to close at 2,772 points. Today, the share prices of 240 companies have increased while the prices of 19 companies have fallen.
A total of 30,915,183 units of shares of 331 companies were traded during the day. Shares of Ankhukhola Hydropower Company Ltd were traded the most today. Today, shares of the company worth Rs 43.59 crore were traded. Shares of Green Venture worth Rs 39.77 crore were traded. Shares of Shivam Cement worth Rs 32 crore have been traded.
Investors of 12 companies have earned the most today. Out of the 12 companies in the positive circuit today, investors of 8 companies have earned at the rate of 10 percent while investors of four companies have earned more than 9.65 percent.
Everest Bank has lost the most debentures today. Today, its unit owners lost 5.80 percent.
