Kathmandu. Sopan Pharmaceuticals has changed the initial public offering (IPO) date for the general public.
The government has decided to give a two-day holiday on Saturday and Sunday in view of the fuel crisis. The company will now open the IPO from April 17. Earlier, the company had issued a notice to the general public from April 2.
In the second phase, the company will issue 2,14,500 units to mutual funds and 1,71,600 units to employees of the company while the remaining 3,474,900 units at face value of Rs 100 will be issued to the general public.
Applications can be place for minimum 10 units and maximum 11,000 units.
The interested bidders can apply for the shares from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) licensed banks and their branches. The IPO will be issued on April 22 at the earliest and on April 23 after the banking hours.
NMB Capital has been appointed as the issue manager for the IPO issuance.
