Kathmandu. So far, 13 commercial banks have declared dividend for the fiscal year 2081/82. They are Prime Commercial Bank, Nabil Bank, NMB Bank, Laxmi Sunrise Bank, Agriculture Development Bank, Nepal SBI Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Global IME Bank, Siddhartha Bank, Sijins Bank, Sanima Bank, Everest Bank and Machhapuchchhre Bank. These banks have announced dividends to be distributed to their shareholders from the profit of the last financial year.

Siddhartha Bank

The bank is in the financial year 2081. The total paid up capital of Rs 14.08 billion is Rs 14.08 billion from the distributable profit of Rs 14.08 billion. 53 percent of the company has proposed to distribute a dividend of Rs 1.48 billion. Out of which 5 percent will be bonus shares worth Rs 70,44,99,010 and 5 percent will be paid. 53 percent of the company has a cash dividend of Rs 779,175,905 (including tax purposes). The general meeting has been held.

Global IME Bank

The bank’s fiscal year 2081. The government has proposed to distribute 8 percent cash dividend (including tax) of the proposed paid-up capital for the current fiscal year. The proposal has already been passed.

Standard Chartered Bank

The bank has decided to provide 19 percent cash dividend (including tax) to its shareholders from the profit of the last FY. The company has already completed its AGM.

Citizens Bank

The bank has provided 5 percent bonus shares and 0.00 percent of its current paid-up capital from the distributable profit of the last FY. The bank has decided to distribute 263 percent cash dividend. The bank has already held its AGM.

Sanima Bank

The bank has earned a total of Rs 7,000 crore from the profit of the last fiscal year. The company has decided to distribute 3685 percent dividend. The bank has decided to give only cash without issuing bonus shares. The meeting has been completed.

Everest Bank

The bank has decided to distribute 20 percent dividend to its shareholders from the profit of the last FY. The bank has decided to distribute 6 percent bonus shares and 14 percent cash dividend. The general meeting has been held.

Machhapuchchhre Bank

The bank has decided to distribute 8 percent dividend to its shareholders from the profit of the last FY. The bank has decided to distribute 4% bonus shares and 4% cash dividend to its shareholders. The company has also held its AGM.

Laxmi Sunrise Bank

The bank has decided to distribute 10.53 percent dividend from the profit of the last FY. The bank will be distributing 10 percent bonus shares and 0.53 percent cash dividend for dividend tax purposes. The bank has already closed the book for the AGM and dividend distribution on December 17.

Agricultural Development Bank

The bank has decided to distribute 13 percent dividend to its shareholders from the profit of the last FY. Out of this offering, 3.25 percent bonus shares and 9.75 percent cash dividend will be distributed. The bank has already completed its meeting on December 29.

Nepal SBI Bank

The bank has decided to distribute a total dividend of 9 percent to its shareholders from the profit of the last FY. The bank will provide 4 percent bonus shares and 5 percent cash dividend for tax purposes. The bank has already closed its book on December 20 for the AGM and dividend distribution. The bank is conducting its 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday, January 1, 2019 at Tribhuvan Army Officers’ Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu.

NMB Bank

The bank has decided to distribute 10 percent dividend to its shareholders from the profit of the last FY. Out of this offer, the bank has decided to distribute 5 percent bonus shares and 5 percent cash dividend. The bank has already closed its book on December 24 for the purpose of dividend and AGM.

Prime Commercial Bank

}

The bank will approve 8.421 percent dividend on its current paid-up capital. This includes 8 percent bonus shares and 0.421 percent cash dividend for tax purposes. The bank has decided to close its book on January 21 for the purpose of dividend and AGM. This means that only the shareholders who have been held before January 21 will be eligible to receive the dividend and participate in the meeting.

Nabil Bank

The bank last fiscal year 2081. The meeting will approve 12.5 percent cash dividend (including tax) of the current paid-up capital proposed for the current fiscal year. The bank has decided to close the book on December 30 for the purpose of dividend and meeting. This means that only the shareholders who have remained in the bank before January 1 will be eligible to receive the dividend and participate in the meeting.
