Kathmandu. SmartChoice Technologies (SSCT) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Cititech Group Pvt. Ltd. for digital payments. The collaboration has made an important achievement to make Digital Payment Acceptance (FinPoS) system more robust, modern and effective.
According to the partnership, CityTech will be able to accept payments through SCT’s platform which supports digital payments through smart QR for various card schemes and dynamic QRs.
Through this partnership, SCT’s robust payment infrastructure will be integrated with Cititech’s latest technology to provide banks and merchants with modern, intuitive, and extensible devices.
Banks, financial institutions, and other payment service providers willing to undertake the PoS quarring business can benefit from this service. This facility will be very good financially for these organizations as the card schemes do not require separate subscriptions, investment in technology and security certification.
SCT has been continuously committed to expanding, accessing, and promoting innovation in digital payment systems. The partnership with FinPoS is an important step towards this commitment.
SCT is currently issuing SCT Union Pay Card through 24 BFIs and more than 100 cooperatives.
