Small Life Insurance has brought in a business of about Rs 54.5 crore, how much to whom?

Kathmandu. Current fiscal year 2082. As of the second quarter of 2018, the micro life insurer has brought in a business of about Rs 54.5 crore.

According to the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority, three micro life insurance companies have earned a total insurance premium of Rs 54.49 crore in the first six months of the current fiscal year. As of January, the number of active insurance policies of these companies is 22,89,795.

Crest Micro Life is one of the small life insurers that has brought in the most business as of the review period. The company has earned a total premium of Rs 19.49 crore in the first six months of the current fiscal year. As of mid-January, the company has 5,38,508 active insurance policies.

Similarly, Guardian Micro Life has collected Rs 19.47 crore and Liberty Micro Life has collected Rs 15.52 crore in the second quarter of the current FY. The number of active insurance policies of both companies as of January 2020 are 14,24,037 and 3,27,250 respectively.
