Kathmandu. Siddhartha Premier Insurance has donated Rs 10.1 million to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund (PMKR) for the relief, rescue and rehabilitation of the people affected by the flooding in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa.
The cheque equivalent to the amount was handed over to Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle by the company’s proprietor Hasana Sharma.
Earlier, the company had provided Rs 51 lakh to the victims of the floods in 2081 BS and Rs 10.1 crore for the reconstruction of the national heritage damaged during the Jenji movement. The company has also paid the insurance claims of the properties damaged by these incidents on time.
