Kathmandu. Small Life Insurer has brought in a business of more than Rs 84.5 crore in the current fiscal year 2082. As of the third quarter (July-March) of 83, it has brought in a business of more than Rs 84.5 crore.
According to the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA) today, three micro life insurance companies have collected a total insurance premium of Rs 84.56 crore in the first nine months of the current fiscal year. The number of active insurance policies of these insurers is 24,40,057 till this period.
Crest Micro Life was among the top gainers in business till March. The company collected a total premium of Rs 30.54 crore. The number of active insurance policies of the company during this period stood at 5,72,512.
Guardian Micro Life has collected a total premium of Rs 30.40 crore and Liberty Micro Life has collected Rs 23.60 crore in total insurance premiums till March of the current financial year. Guardian Micro Life has 14,69,378 active insurance policies and Liberty Micro Life has 3,98,167.
