Kathmandu. Shikhar Insurance has contributed more than Rs 1.11 crore to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund.
The company handed over a cheque of Rs 1,11,11,111 to Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle on Wednesday. The cheque was handed over by the company’s chairman Gaurav Agrawal and chief executive officer Deep Prakash Pandey. This financial assistance is the highest among non-life insurers.
The company said that it is very important to stand together in this difficult time as the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River on August 10 have affected the local communities and livelihoods. “We believe that it is our responsibility to support the affected communities,” the company said.
The company has urged everyone to support the recovery together. “Let’s rebuild with new hope and stand strong as one Nepal,” the company said.
