Kathmandu. Shares of Shikhar Power Development will be traded in the secondary market from Friday.
The initial public offering (IPO) of Shikhar Power Company Limited (CPN) has been listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) today. The IPO of any company starts trading from the second day of its listing. According to this provision, the shares of the company will be traded from Friday. The stock market will be trading on Friday as the government has declared a public holiday for two days on Saturday and Sunday.
A total of 98 lakh units of shares of Shikhar Power have been listed on NEPSE. Out of the total offered shares, 32 Lakh units (32.65%) are held by the general public and 66 Lakh units (67.35%) are held by the promoters.
For the first transaction, NEPSE has fixed a minimum price of Rs 94.78 to a maximum of Rs 284.34 per share. The trading signal is that the company has received SIPD.
In the special presession tomorrow, the shares of the company will be traded for the regular session if the shares are traded within the range set by NEPSE.
Shikhar Power had opened its IPO to the general public from March 1 to March 10. The IPO was allotted on March 3.
