Shares of Palpa Cement to start trading in second market from tomorrow

Kathmandu. Shares of Palpa Cement Industries Ltd will be traded in the secondary market from Friday.

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has listed the initial public offering (IPO) of Palpa Cement. The IPO of any company starts trading from the second day of its listing. According to this provision, the shares of the company will be traded from Friday. The stock market will be trading on Friday as the government has declared a public holiday for two days on Saturday and Sunday.

A total of 3.75 crore units of shares of Palpa Cement have been listed on NEPSE. Out of the total offered shares, 75 Lakh units (20%) are held by the general public and 30 million (80%) units are held by the promoters.

For the first transaction, NEPSE has fixed a minimum of Rs 100 to a maximum of Rs 300 per share. The trading signal is that the company has received PCIL.

In the special presession tomorrow, the shares of the company will be traded for the regular session if the shares are traded within the range set by NEPSE.

Palpa Cement had opened its IPO to the general public from February 27 to February 29. The IPO was allotted on March 29.
