Kathmandu. Shares of Kalinchowk Hydropower Ltd will be traded in the secondary market from Monday.
The initial public offering (IPO) of Kalinchowk Hydropower Limited (CPN) has been listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) today. The IPO of any company starts trading from the second day of its listing. According to this provision, the shares of the company will be traded from Monday. The government has declared a public holiday on Saturday and Sunday.
A total of 5.5 million units of shares of Kalinchowk Hydropower have been listed on NEPSE. Out of this, 13,75,000 units (25%) are held by the general public and 41,25,000 units (75%) are held by the promoters.
For the first transaction, NEPSE has fixed a minimum of Rs 100 to a maximum of Rs 300 per share. The trading signal is that the company has received ‘KHPL’.
In the special session on Monday, the company’s shares will be traded for the regular session if they are traded within the range set by NEPSE.
Kalinchowk Hydropower had opened its IPO to the general public from April 5 to April 8 last year. The IPO was allotted on April 7.
