Kathmandu. Shangrila Development Bank Limited has organized a free eye check-up and treatment camp in Darchula. As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the free eye camp was organized at District Hospital Khalanga on June 12, 2083 and at Duhu Rural Municipality on June 12, 2083.
A total of 387 people were provided eye check-up and consultation with specialist doctors at the eye camp at the District Hospital Khalanga and 324 at the camp at Duhu Rural Municipality.
A team of ophthalmologists from Geta Eye Hospital, Dhangadhi, provided services in the camp. The Shangri-La Development Bank will provide free surgery to the eye patients who need cataract surgery in the camp.
The camp was attended by local people, people’s representatives and representatives of the concerned bodies.
