Kathmandu. The Insurance Institute of Nepal (IA) is going to hold its 7th annual general meeting on January 12.
The event will begin at 2:00 pm on Monday at Hotel Crown Imperial Kathmandu in Rabi Bhawan. The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on December 22 fixed the date for the AGM.
The Fiscal Year 2081. 82 Annual Report to be submitted, Balance Sheet of Fiscal Year 2081 with Auditor’s Report, Fiscal Year 2081 ended on the same date. 82. The meeting will endorse the proposal to approve income and expenditure, account, profit, loss and cash flow statement of the same period.
Although the organization was brought into operation in partnership with the Insurance Authority and the insurer, it has not been able to make a profit even after seven years of its establishment. This organization is providing short-term professional and theoretical training to the manpower related to insurance.
The meeting approved the fiscal year 2082 as per the recommendation of the audit committee. It will appoint 83 auditors, determine their remuneration, select directors, and endorse various proposals.
The AGM shall also discuss and decide on a proposal to support the decision of the Chairman and Directors appointed by the Board of Directors.
