Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The attention of the bank has been drawn to the incident of NIC Asia Bank entering the Itahari branch with the intention of causing misconduct and misbehaving with the bank’s staffers.
Any such illegal and unruly activities in a sensitive and essential service delivery place like a bank is not acceptable and such activities have created an unsafe environment for the employees of the bank as well as the entire banking sector. Serious activities such as creating a ruckus inside the bank offices, arson and spraying highly inflammable substances like petrol with the intention of causing loss to the life and livelihood of the bank have made a negative impact on the banking sector which has made a huge contribution to the country’s economic development.
As such indecent behavior against the employees in any pretext would not be tolerable, the concerned body should carry out necessary investigation against the person involved in the incident and take action as per the prevailing law and to maintain peace and security of the bank and its employees.
