Kathmandu. The Deposit and Credit Guarantee Fund (CDS) and its branch office Butwal jointly organized a one-day workshop on “Seminar on Credit Guarantee and Orientation on Software on Credit Claims” at Dreamland Gold Resort and Hotel, Butwal.
The program was attended by representatives of Rastriya Banijya Bank, Agricultural Development Bank Province Office, Infinity Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, Gramin Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, Janautthan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, Swabhiman Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, Sampada Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, Unnati Sahyog Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, Swarojgar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd, Mero Microfinance, CYC Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha and other banks and financial institutions. Chief Executive Officer Ramesh Ghimire, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Usha Poudel, Chief Executive Officer of Loan Department Vikrant Acharya and Chief Executive Officer of Information Technology Department Raju KC were present on the occasion. Employees of the central and branch office of the fund were also present on the occasion.
The seminar was hosted by Basanta KC, chief of PADT chapter office Butwal and welcome speech was given by PADT Deputy Chief Officer Usha Poudel.
Chief Manager of Credit Protection, Vikrant Acharya, informed about the new loan protection software that the Fund is going to bring into operation, said Raju KC, Chief of Information Technology Department of the Fund.
Shyam Kumar Katuwal, Chief Executive Officer of Gramin Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, a representative of the seminar, gave a brief speech.
After this, the participants of the program put their queries in the seminar. Ramesh Ghimire, CEO of the Fund, responded to the question and gave the final speech of the program.
As per the provisions of the fund’s annual policy and program, it has set a target to identify the problems in the existing programs and to collect suggestions for the same.
