Kathmandu. The second fortnightly award of the month of July under the Taxpayer Incentive Award is being announced today. The Inland Revenue Department organized a program at the Ministry of Finance. Swarnim Wagle and Finance Secretary Dr. The award will be announced by Ghanashyam Upadhyaya.
Consumers engaged in regular transactions from August 1 to 14 will participate in the prize to be announced today. According to the department, the number of consumers participating in the award has increased in the first month itself.
A total of 3,57,149 cash transaction bills have been registered for the gift from August 1 to 14.
Earlier, in the first 15 days of July, the number of transactions of consumers uploading bills was only 7,077.
Similarly, the number of transactions of customers who automatically participated in the gift scheme through QR transactions has increased from 2,56,08,094 to 3,20,86,380.
According to the department, the total number of transactions under the gift scheme in the last 16 days has reached 3,24,43,229. A total of 17 winners will be selected today. Out of which, 16 people will win Rs 1,33,334 each for 16 days from August 2 to 16. They will get Rs 1 lakh after deducting tax.
At the same time, one of them will win a bumper prize of Rs 10 lakh. The prize money will be taxed at 25 percent.
In today’s program, cash prizes will be given to those who win the prizes in the first fortnight of August.
