Kathmandu. Sanima Reliance Life Insurance Limited has distributed blankets to the damaged houses and fire victims in Kalikot district of Karnali Province. As a part of its corporate social responsibility, the company has constructed a hydropower project at Shubha Kalika village in Kalikot district of Karnali Province due to incessant rainfall from October 1 to 24, 2082. Pa. Ward No. 7 & 8, Mahawai Ga. Pa. Ward No. 5 & 6, Khadachatra No. Ward No. 1 & 5, Tilagufa No. Houses damaged in wards 10 and 7 and Tilagufa Municipality wards 5 and 6, Khandachakra Municipality have been damaged. Blankets were distributed to 43 families of Ward No. 10 as part of the fire.
The relief distribution program was held in the presence of the company’s Surkhet branch chief Bishwa Raj Bogati. The victims who participated in the program have expressed happiness and satisfaction with the support given to them. They also expressed their gratitude for the commitment shown by the organization dedicated to humanitarian service by reaching out to remote districts.
