Sanima GIC Insurance hands over computers and printers to two schools

Kathmandu. Sanima GIC Insurance Limited organized two programs as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in Lumbini Province on June 25. As part of the program, Lumbini Province Chief Arjun Subedi handed over 5 computers and one printer from two community schools of Rupandehi and Kapilvastu to School Management Committee.

Subedi, the company’s Lumbini Province Chief Subedi, handed over two computers and a printer to Khim Bahadur Gyawali, chairman of the school management committee, at Public Namuna Secondary School in Siyari Rural Municipality of Rupandehi.

Principal Khadananda Sharma briefed about the condition of the school since its inception and till now, saying the available materials would help in the teaching and learning activities of the school.

Chairman of the School Management Committee Gyawali expressed his confidence that the received materials would be properly utilized and the school would continue to progress with the cooperation of the helping hands.

Similarly, the company has handed over three sets of computers to Mahendra Secondary School located in Pratappur Rural Municipality-3 of Kapilvastu. According to Sushma Pandey, chief of the Butwal branch of the company, the equipment will help make the school’s work technology-friendly and give students special access to information technology.

On the occasion, Balaram Giri, assistant of Nepal Insurance Authority’s Lumbini Province Office, said that he was happy that the company’s provincial office had organized such program at the local level under the social responsibility and other stakeholders should also continue this work.

On the occasion, school principal Yogendra Prasad Baniya thanked all who provided computer support and expressed his confidence that it would further facilitate the teaching learning activities.

The program was attended by local and ward chairpersons Shreeram Yadav and Rishidev Das respectively while Balaram Giri was the assistant of Nepal Insurance Authority.

The program was attended by the company’s Butwal branch chief Sushma Pandey, Manigram branch chief Krishna Koirala, Bhairahawa branch chief Narayan Neupane, Bhumahi branch chief Devi Prasad Bhandari, Bhumahi branch chief Ajay Yadav and province office chief Sanchit Bhattarai along with school management committee and teachers÷students.
