Kathmandu. Today is the last day to secure the dividend of Sanima GIC Insurance. The company has decided to close the book on May 7 for the purpose of dividend and meeting. This means that only the shareholders who have remained in the company as of May 22 will be eligible to receive the dividend and participate in the meeting.
The company has decided to hold its 8th annual general meeting on May 20. The rally will begin at 11:00 am at Nepal Police Club, Exhibition Road, Kathmandu.
The meeting held the last fiscal year 2081. The company will approve a total dividend of 5.2632 percent of the current paid-up capital of Rs 2.15 billion. This includes 5 percent bonus shares and 0.2632 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.
The AGM will also pass a special resolution to review the decision of issuing 17 percent right shares of the paid-up capital passed by the 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM). Now, the Eighth Annual General Meeting shall pass a special resolution authorizing the Board of Directors to amend and make changes in the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association and to carry out other works if directed by the Recording or Sanctioning Body to make any changes in the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association to be maintained after the distribution of bonus shares.
The meeting approved the annual and auditor’s report of the last fiscal year and the current fiscal year 2082. 83. Approve the proposal relating to the appointment of the auditor and the determination of his/her remuneration.
