KATHMANDU: Sanima Bank has called its 22nd Annual General Meeting.
The meeting of the Board of Directors of the bank held on Thursday decided to hold the AGM on September 28. The meeting will begin at 11:00 am at the Amrapali Banquet in Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu.
The meeting shall approve a cash dividend (inclusive of tax) of a total of 10 per cent of the proposed current paid-up capital and a cash dividend (inclusive of tax) of 8.25 per cent for preference shareholders. The meeting shall elect 2 directors to be represented on the board of directors from the general public.
The meeting approved the annual and auditor’s report for the last fiscal year and approved the proposal for the current fiscal year 2083. 84 for the appointment of the auditor and the resolution relating to the determination of his remuneration.
For the purpose of dividends and meetings, the bank has decided to close the book on September 1. This means that only the shareholders who have been in possession before September 1 will be eligible to attend the meeting of this bank and receive the dividend.
