Samsung Innovation Campus Promises to Build a New Generation of Digital Innovators in Nepal

Kathmandu. Samsung Innovation Campus Nepal has successfully completed the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data program and launched a new batch of coding and programming. The AI and Big Data program was launched from June 27 to December 31, 2025, aimed at preparing the youth for Nepal’s digital economy.

The program provided participants with hands-on learning, industry-relevant knowledge and hands-on hands-on exposure to next-generation technologies.  At the conclusion of the program, graduating students were felicitated with certificates and formal welcome to new students participating in coding and programming courses.

Since 2023, Samsung Innovation Campus has been imparting future-ready skills to the youth, taking forward Samsung’s vision of global CSR ‘Tyanbhattajvachchaya Tychyadh1 Vladshlin AvUvi’.  The initiative aims to contribute to developing a new generation of innovators and problem solvers.

Zhang Wook Jung, Managing Director of Samsung Nepal, said, “Equipping youth with future-ready skills is not only a matter of education, it is an investment in the long-term progress of the country. Through Samsung Innovation Campus, we are committed to empower the youth who can lead the digital economy in Nepal.” The curriculum of Samsung Innovation Campus is not limited to technical training but is linked to the required soft skills.

Aimed at enhancing digital literacy, creativity, collaboration, problem-solving abilities and employability, the curriculum aims to prepare participants for the real workplace.

The main feature of the program is hands-on project-based learning, where students had the opportunity to design socially relevant and real-life solutions.

Using emerging technologies such as AI, Big Data, Internet of Things (IoT), and coding and programming, participants gain practical use of technology and the skills to create impact.

Participation in the course requires basic knowledge in algorithms, data structures and programming.  The program aims to equip the younger generation with future-ready skills and contribute to building a strong innovation ecosystem in Nepal.

Rector of the Institute of Engineering Prof. Dr. Dr. Khadga K.C., Chief of Pulchowk Campus. Sanjay Upreti and Dean Dr. Sushil B. Bajracharya was present.

Samsung Innovation Campus Nepal (SMC) expressed its commitment to strengthen the growing technology ecosystem of Nepal by providing the required knowledge, tools and skills to the youths in the future.
