Kathmandu. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its establishment, Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited organized ‘Saliko Security Run 2026’ in a grand manner. The race was organized with the objective of raising awareness about health, awareness and insurance.
More than 500 runners and participants enthusiastically participated in the program. The race started from the company’s central office, Naxal Bhagawati Marg, passed through Gyaneshwor, Kamalpokhari, Ghantaghar, Uttardhoka and ended at the company’s central office.
The program was inaugurated by the company’s Chairman Manohar Das. The enthusiasm, energy and activism of the participants made the event more engaging and successful.
After the run, various fun games and activities were also organized for the participants, which added to the excitement and fun of the event.
All the runners who participated in the program were awarded the Finisher Medal. The winner of the men’s and women’s categories will receive a cash prize of Rs. 100,000/-. He was honored with a cash prize along with SALICO Arogya Health Insurance up to Rs 9 lakh.
Along with the SALICO Safety Run 2026, the company has also conducted various social service programs under its social responsibility. Under this, food distribution program was organized at Manav Sewa Ashram in Gandaki, Koshi and Sudurpaschim provinces, blood donation program in Lumbini province and food distribution program at mother’s love hostel in Madhesh province. The company is trying to fulfill its responsibility towards the society more effectively through such social responsibility programs.
The successful execution of the program is expected to contribute to the promotion of healthy lifestyle, spread insurance awareness and strengthen the company’s relationship with the community.
