Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The names of the first fortnightly winners of the taxpayer incentive gift programme launched by the government have been announced.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the first fortnightly bumper winner is Shiva Krishna General Store located in Punarbas Municipality of Kanchanpur. The store received a bumper gift of Rs 10 lakh for the purchase of goods worth Rs 250.
According to the Inland Revenue Department, Shiva Krishna General Store had purchased the goods on July 23.
The government has launched a program to give a bumper gift of Rs 133,000 to one person daily and Rs 10 lakh to two people in a fortnightly (15 days) i.e. two people in a month.
