Rs. Payment of Rs. 29.86 billion, income Rs. 36.75 billion

Kathmandu. Health Insurance Board in the last fiscal year 2082. It has paid Rs 29.86 billion more in 83 years.

According to the report published by the Insurance Board, a total of Rs 29.86 billion has been paid to the health service providers associated with the health insurance program in the last fiscal year. The government hospitals have received Rs 17.66 billion in total payment.

Similarly, community hospitals have been paid Rs 1.68 billion and private hospitals Rs 6.13 billion.

In the last fiscal year, the board cleared the advance of Rs 4.37 billion to the service providers.

In the last fiscal year, the insurance board earned a total income of Rs 36.75 crore. This includes Rs 1.68 billion from the previous fiscal year.

Similarly, the board has received Rs 21.19 billion as insurance contribution from the government. The Board has provided Rs 5.19 billion as scholarship contract, Rs 4.37 billion in payment of responsibility and Rs 3.88 billion in insurance premium, Rs 41.16 million in insurance fund income and Rs 1.703 million as examination and other income from the government.

A total of 1,765,786 people have enrolled in the health insurance scheme in the last fiscal year. That’s 36 percent of the total population.

Similarly, there are 56,87,552 active insured people. That’s 19 percent of the population.

In the last fiscal year, 41,93,143 people have renewed their insurance policies while the number of insured people availing the service is 31,35,800.
