Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has started the process of printing new coins of Rs. 1 denomination.
The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) today invited international tenders for Rs. 1 denomination of new coins to be printed by the central bank. The central bank will print 400 million new coins.
Interested companies have to submit the bid proposal by November 2. The bid has to be submitted to the banking department of the Rastra Bank at Thapathal.
The eligible company will have to submit a deposit of 20,000 rupees or 131 US dollars or 115 euros when submitting the proposal. The companies selected by the Rastra Bank will have to do the work of designing, printing and supplying coins.
