Rs. Demand for share mortgage loans above Rs 1 crore, how much for other ranges?

Kathmandu. There is a high demand for share loans above Rs 1 crore in banks.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the current fiscal year 2082. This is what the data shows for the 11 months of ’83 (July-May). After that, there is a lot of flow of collateral loans from banks in the range of Rs 25 lakh to Rs 50 lakh.

According to the data, banks have issued Rs 162.87 billion as collateral loans till mid-June of the current fiscal year. Previous fiscal year 2081. By May 18, the banks had disbursed Rs 128.67 billion in loans. Compared to the previous year, the share loan from banks increased by 26.58 percent.

As of mid-May of the current fiscal year, banks have issued loans of Rs 116.77 billion as collateral of shares above Rs 10 million. The loan of this range had increased to Rs 88.42 billion till May last year. The demand for loans in this range has increased by 32.07 percent.

Loans in the range of Rs 5 million to Rs 10 million stood at Rs 18.51 billion, loans in the range of Rs 2.5 million to Rs 50 lakh stood at Rs 19.14 billion and loans in the range of Rs 2.5 million stood at Rs 8.43 billion. In the previous year, loans in the range of Rs 5 million to Rs 1 crore were Rs 15.30 billion, loans in the range of Rs 2.5 million to Rs 50 lakh were Rs 16.87 billion and loans of Rs 2.5 million were Rs 8.07 billion.

Compared to the previous year, loans in the range of Rs 5 million to Rs 10 million increased by 21.01 percent, loans in the range of Rs 25 lakh to Rs 50 lakh increased by 13.46 percent and loans in the range of Rs 2.5 million increased by 4.68 percent.
