Kathmandu. There has been a surge in remittances coming into the country. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the current fiscal year 2082. This is what the data of April 83 shows.
According to the data, the remittance inflow increased by 41.2 percent to Rs. It has reached Rs 1,916.90 billion. The remittance inflow had grown by 13.3 per cent in the same period of the previous year.
The remittance inflow in the month of Baisakh 2083 stood at Rs. 257.49 billion. In the same month of the previous year, the remittance inflow was Rs. It was Rs 165.30 billion.
In the review period, the remittance inflow in US Dollars increased by 33.0 per cent and reached 13.26 billion. The remittance inflow had grown by 10.6 per cent the year before that.
