Relief for flood victims: No charge for sending money to Nepal through City Express

Kathmandu. There will be no service charge on sending money to Nepal through City Express from all over the world. In order to provide immediate financial assistance to the families affected by the recent devastating floods and landslides in different parts of Nepal, City Express has said that the service charge on sending money from different countries of the world will be completely waived.

The company has made this arrangement since the day the floods occurred so that Nepalis living abroad can send financial assistance with easy, quick and full amount to their families in this hour of disaster.

Now, service charge will not be levied on remittances sent to Nepal from Gulf countries including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman. Free remittance services will also be available from Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and Australia in the Asia-Pacific region.

Nepalis residing in the UK, Romania, Portugal, Malta, Denmark, Croatia, Sweden, Norway, Germany, and France in Europe can also take advantage of this facility. There will be no service charge on sending money from New Zealand to Nepal in the Oceania region.

This free facility has also been implemented through City Express and its other international channels spread across the world. It is expected that this will make it easier for Nepalis in many countries to send financial assistance to their families and relatives affected by floods and landslides in Nepal.
