Kathmandu. The Federation of Truck Transport Entrepreneurs of Nepal (FNTE) has said that the flood in Timure of Rasuwa district has affected cargo vehicles, transport entrepreneurs and workers.
According to the Federation, the floods have swept away the cargo vehicles at the Timure customs yard while the vehicles parked in the Betrawati area have also been badly damaged.
Stating that some vehicle entrepreneurs and workers associated with the member organisations under the federation are out of contact, the federation has urged the concerned organisations to be in contact with the concerned organisations and get in touch with the security bodies.
The Federation has urged transport entrepreneurs, workers and the general public to adopt high alertness in the river banks and surrounding areas and follow the directives issued by the security bodies.
The federation has also appealed to all to contribute from their respective sides in the rescue and risk reduction works in this hour of disaster.
