Kathmandu. Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) has urged the insurance companies to carry out rescue operations in Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading districts.
The authority has verbally appealed to the insurers to immediately start rescue work. “This is not the time for us to call the non-life insurance companies. Now is the time to start rescue operations,” said NRA Executive Director Sushil Dev Subedi. ’
Subedi said that they have also started collecting details of the damage in the affected areas. “Once the situation becomes normal, we will ask the insurers to collect the details of the damages and send it to the NRA and provide the insurance claim payment soon,” he said.
