Kathmandu. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has made a clean sweep in Udayapur. Parashmani Gelal has been elected from Udayapur Constituency 1 while Surya Bahadur Tamang has been elected from Constituency 2. Gelal garnered 30,509 votes while Surya Bahadur Tamang garnered 14,802 votes.
His nearest rival was Labour Culture Party candidate Rajesh Kumar Rai who got 11,696 votes. His nearest rival was CPN-UML’s Ambar Bahadur Rayamajhi who got 7,648 votes.
