Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane has spent Rs 9.89 lakh in the election to the House of Representatives.
Lamichhane is contesting from Chitwan-2. He has submitted the details of his election expenses to the District Election Office, Chitwan.
According to the details submitted by election representative Sita Gyawali on behalf of Lamichhane, Rs 989,987 was spent on the election.
According to the report, the highest expenditure has been spent on transportation and fuel. Lamichhane spent Rs 295,000 for using two vehicles for 15 days.
Similarly, Rs 180,000 was spent on the seminar, Rs 13,626 in airfare, Rs 196,000 in food and ration and Rs 157,000 in publicity materials.
Likewise, it spent Rs 10,000 for registration of nomination, Rs 68,161 for printing of sample ballot paper, Rs 14,200 for lunch for voter training and Rs 46,000 for ward-level publicity.
