Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Shikhir Khanal has been elected to the House of Representatives from Kathmandu-6 with a huge margin. With this, the party has won in 4 constituencies so far.
Kathmandu Region No. Khanal garnered 27,719 votes out of 43,863 votes counted. His nearest rival was NC’s Sabuj Baniya who got 6,647 votes. Khanal’s vote share is 4 times more than Baniya’s.
CPN-UML’s Aman Maskey garnered 4,373 votes in the constituency.
