KATHMANDU: Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) is to issue debentures worth Rs 3 billion from October 14.
Rastriya Banijya Bank is going to issue ‘ABBL Debenture-2089’ debentures. According to this, the bank will issue a total of 30 lakh debentures of face value of Rs 1,000.
Out of the total number of units, the bank will sell 18 lakh units individually and the remaining 12 lakh units will be issued publicly. Out of the total units to be issued, the bank will set aside 60,000 units, which will be 5 per cent, to the mutual funds. The remaining 11.40 lakh units will be sold to the general public.
Investors can apply for the debentures from the banks and financial institutions participating in the C-ASBA service approved by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) and their designated branch offices as well as CDSC’s Mero shares. The bond issuance will be held at the earliest from October 26 to November 26 after the banking hours.
This is a 7-year term bond. The investor will get 6% interest per annum. Kumari Capital has been appointed as the sale manager for this bond.
