Proton 5 launched in Nepal, starting price at Rs. 29.99 lakh

Kathmandu. Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Proton vehicles in Nepal, officially launched the new Proton EMas 5 compact SUV in a special launch ceremony held in Kathmandu. Introduced as the second electric vehicle from Proton brand in Nepal, the EMase 5 is a brand new compact electric SUV option that adds a new dimension to the urban lifestyle and daily travel experience.

Proton E.Mas 5 has recently earned international recognition as the ‘Electric Compact Vehicle of the Year 2026’ at the prestigious Allianz DSF Vehicle of the Year Awards in Malaysia. A perfect amalgamation of cutting-edge technology and intelligent design, the Emas 5 features a 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Further, there are 32 spacious storage compartments with a 70-litre front front trunk and 375-litre expandable rear rear luggage compartment offering practical utility and ease for both regular daily short and long distance trips.

The launch ceremony was attended by representatives of Embassy of Malaysia in Nepal, stakeholders of the automobile sector, business partners, media persons, auto-journalists, influencers along with distinguished guests and customers. This grand presence reflects the growing interest in sustainable mobility solutions in Nepal.

The Proton E-Mass is available in two variants, 5 Prime and Premium. On the special occasion of the launch of Proton E.Mass 5 in Nepal, Jagdamba Motors has announced Rs. 100 million for the Prime variant. Rs. 29.99 lakh for the premium variant and Rs. 10.99 lakh. The company has announced a special starting price of Rs 34.99 lakh. These special introductory prices are applicable for the first 100 customers and for a limited time only.

Customers can directly experience and experience the new Proton EMase 5 by visiting any Proton EMase showroom in the country. Also, customers can book E.Mass 5 at an introductory price applicable for a limited period.
