Kathmandu. The Office of the Troubled Cooperative Management Committee has published the names of 23 cooperatives affected by the problem.
The Office under the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration has made public the list of cooperatives that have declared problems on different dates. It has also urged the cooperatives to inform the office if they are found that they have embezzled the savings or assets of the cooperatives and hidden the property in the name of their family, relatives or any other person.
The office has also urged the operators of the problematic cooperatives to settle their liabilities, recover loans, identify assets and other resources and manage them and to help in the work of repayment of savings, liability management and regulation by being in contact with the office of the regular committee.
The office has also warned that action will be taken otherwise.
