Kathmandu. The government has formed a probe commission to probe the properties of people holding public posts since 2062 BS. The meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Wednesday decided to form a 5-member commission under the convenorship of former Justice Rajendra Kumar Bhandari.
The meeting also decided to give the responsibility of collecting, verifying and investigating the property details of the chief political officials and high-ranking officials who held public posts from 2062/063 to 2002/083 to the Commission for Investigation of Property.
Other members include former judge Purushottam Parajuli, former judge Chandiraj Dhakal, former deputy inspector general of Nepal Police Ganesh KC and chartered accountant Prakash Lamsal.
