Kathmandu. President Ram Chandra Poudel has summoned the session of both the houses of the Federal Parliament after certifying half a dozen ordinances on the recommendation of the Rastriya Swatantra Party-led government.
The President summoned the session after the Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday recommended to summon the session of both the houses for May 10.
According to Ritesh Kumar Shakya, spokesperson of the Office of the President, President Poudel summoned the session of both the houses of parliament for 2 pm on May 11.
Earlier, the President had summoned the session of both the houses for April 28 on the recommendation of the government but the government had recommended to postpone the session of the House of Representatives to end the legal hurdles by issuing an ordinance on urgent issues.
