Kathmandu. In recent years, the tradition of celebrating birthdays in different ways has increased. In the past, I used to go to hotels and restaurants and celebrate by feeding my friends. Nowadays, the practice of buying insurance policies or giving them as gifts to others has increased.
Meanwhile, Bishnu Sapkota, a resident of Beni Municipality-2, gifted an insurance policy worth Rs 1.5 million to her husband Pradeep Sapkota. On the occasion of her husband’s birthday, she gifted an insurance policy from Citizen Life Insurance Myagdi branch.
Stating that the practice of gifting insurance policies on birthdays has increased, she said that gifting life insurance policies instead of giving cash and goods for security and savings will help in lifelong use and encourage safe savings and long-term savings.
