Kathmandu. Pokhara—The Maha Shivaratri Bhajan Utsav is going to be held at Chandragiri Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple in Pokhara. On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri, a day-long Mahashivratri special bhajan festival will be held at Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple premises, Chandragiri.
In this festival, the youth bhajan group of Pokhara, who is giving a new height to the bhajan culture, will also perform special bhajans from 2 pm to 5 pm. The participants will be able to experience the spiritual experience by participating in the bhajans performed by the Bhajan Group including Uttam Baral and Jupiter Poudel. In the evening, there will also be an opportunity to receive Maha Aarti along with Shiva Dhuni.
Chandragiri Cable Car is offering a 50 per cent discount to the devotees who come to attend the Maha Aarti after 4:30 pm. The cable car will also be available till 8:00 pm for the convenience of the devotees participating in the Mahashivaratri and Maha Aarti.
The festival has been organized with the objective of consolidating the glory of Bhaleshwor Mahadev and the religious-cultural identity. The Chandragiri Hills has also urged to pay homage to Bhaleshwor Mahadev with devotional music and spiritual energy to make this year’s Mahashivratri special.
