Kathmandu. The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has called on the public to register complaints regarding files that have not been cleared even during the recently concluded “Zero Files Week”.
Issuing a public notice, the office has made this request considering the effectiveness of this special campaign and the rights of the service recipients targeted at all three levels of government bodies.
From April 13, 2002 to April 19, 2083, the government had organized the ‘Zero Files Week’ with the objective of reducing the files piled up in government offices across the country to zero. The service recipients can directly lodge a complaint at the Office of the Prime Minister if they are found that any file has not been cleared or there is any delay in the work during the period.

The government launched this campaign with the goal of making government services fast, efficient and accountable. According to the notice signed by Netra Prasad Pokhrel, section officer at the Office of the Prime Minister, the complaints received would be addressed with priority.
