Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balendra Shah left for Bidur of Nuwakot district at 9:30 am today for an on-site inspection. Prime Minister Shah is accompanied by Minister for Infrastructure Development Sunil Lamsal.
Prime Minister Shah has been continuously active to make the rescue and relief work effective after the floods in Rasuwa’s Bhotekoshi caused damage to the riverbanks. After the floods, he has called high-level meetings and directed the subordinate bodies for rescue and relief and has been continuously facilitating.
Prime Minister Shah is scheduled to inspect the affected settlements in and around Bidur of Nuwakot district today.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will take first-hand information about the loss caused by floods and hold discussion with local administration, security agencies and people’s representatives regarding immediate relief and rehabilitation and restoration of the disrupted infrastructure.
