Kathmandu. ‘PinkWalk 2026’ is going to be organized with the objective of raising awareness about breast cancer, spreading information about the importance of early detection and expressing solidarity with the people and families affected by cancer.
Infinite Cares is going to organize the Pink Walk in collaboration with Cancer Care Nepal, which will start at 6 am on Saturday, September 30. Under this, the participants will walk from Kathmandu Durbar Square in Basantapur to Patan Durbar Square in Mangal Bazaar, Lalitpur.
Health workers, cancer survivors, affected families, various organizations, partners, media persons and the general public will participate in the event.
According to the organizers, the main objective of the program is to spread awareness among the community on the importance of regular health check-up, early detection and timely treatment of breast cancer as the treatment of breast cancer can be effective if detected in time.
In addition, the message will be disseminated through the program that people and families undergoing cancer treatment and rehabilitation need social and emotional support.
On behalf of Infinite Cares, Dijup Tuladhar, unit chief, said that Pinkwalk is not limited to just a march but is being taken forward as a collective campaign of awareness, hope, courage and solidarity.

Our main objective is to create an environment to talk openly about breast cancer, make people understand the importance of early detection and stand the community together with individuals and families affected by cancer. PinkWalk 2026 is being organized in partnership with Cancer Care Nepal, National Hospital and Cancer Center, ISS Sound, Novela Biotech, Pathao Nepal, eSewa, Happy Minds, Nepal Cancer Survivors Society, Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Lalitpur Metropolitan City.
The first edition of PinkWalk was held in September 2080 in which more than 600 participants completed the trek from Narayan Chaur, Naxal to Swayambhu with information related to breast cancer. The second edition of this campaign also continues the objective of breast cancer awareness, early detection, community participation and support for people affected by cancer.
