Kathmandu. Commercial banks have published information on the interest rates applicable in July.
According to the report, the average interest rate of 20 commercial banks has fallen below 4 percent. The average interest rate of commercial banks has come down to 3.90 percent.
Kumari Bank is the lowest-paying bank while Nabil Bank and Prabhu Bank are the highest lenders for the month of July. Kumari Bank will provide a maximum interest of 3.55 per cent on individual fixed deposits while Nabil Bank and Prabhu Bank will provide 4.55 per cent interest on fixed deposits.
Similarly, Citizens Bank has fixed up to 3.95 per cent interest rate while Global IME Bank, Himalayan Bank, Laxmi Sunrise Bank, Nepal Investment Mega Bank, NIC Asia Bank, Prime Commercial Bank and Rastriya Banijya Bank have fixed the maximum interest rate of 4.05 per cent.
Similarly, Nepal SBI Bank will provide 4.10 per cent interest on fixed deposits, Agriculture Development Bank 4.15 per cent, Nepal Bank 4.25 per cent, Machhapuchchhre Bank, NMB Bank and Sanima Bank 4.50 per cent.
