Kathmandu. Kiran Pandit, Executive Director of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), has been appointed as the Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held today appointed Pandit as one of the two deputy governors of the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB). The Cabinet appointed Pandit as the deputy governor on the proposal of the Ministry of Finance. Pandit is currently the head of the Foreign Exchange Management Department of the Nepal Rastra Bank.
The government has appointed Dr Gunakar Bhatta as the vice-chairman of the National Planning Commission. Bhatta was previously the executive director of Nepal Rastra Bank.
