Kathmandu. The Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) has warned the general public about travel and medical insurance.

According to the NRA, some consultancies have been preparing fake documents while submitting insurance documents related to travel and medical insurance to be submitted while applying for visa at the embassies of different countries.
Such actions will have a negative impact on the visa application process, the authority said. “Similarly, the insurance claim will not be paid when necessary,” the authority has said, “The provisions related to offense and punishment mentioned in Section 140 of the Insurance Act, 2079 are attracted to the person who prepares and submits forged documents.” ’
