Kathmandu. NMB Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has distributed assistive appliances to differently-abled people in Bheriganga Municipality of Surkhet district. The distribution includes wheelchairs, elbow crutches and other materials as part of the disability transformation and rehabilitation partnership programme jointly implemented by Karuna Foundation and National Federation of Disabled Nepal.
The program was presided over by Mayor of Bheriganga Municipality Yagya Prasad Dhakal and Social Development Minister of Karnali Province Hon’ble Ghanashyam Bhandari was the chief guest. Deputy Mayor Ansara Bohara, NMB Bank’s Lumbini Province Area Manager Ramesh Regmi, Surkhet branch manager Suman Subedi and others were present on the occasion.
NMB has provided Rs 5 lakhs as a corporate social responsibility support for the programme.
